Why do we love the New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro v8?

The Hierro is one of those shoes that really suits our local terrain. It’s got plenty of cushioning to handle our hard packed trails will handle any road sections well too. It’s a great choice if you are just getting into trail running or if you want a comfy, everyday trail shoe that’s going to eat up the miles. It feels light on the foot and has nice soft foam.

When would we not recommend this shoe?

If you’re looking for a shoe for aggressive off road miles, where grip and proprioception of vital importance then you may be better off looking elsewhere.
