*We suggest that runners bring the following with them: running shoes, charged mobile phone (preferably with What3Words app downloaded), nutrition & hydration as required and weather-appropriate clothing. We do not mark the route so if you are concerned about getting lost, we suggest familiarising yourself with the route in the course description below or sticking with someone who knows the route and/or a tail /lead runner.

Route: La Fregate – At Aubins (Out & Back)

Description: Following the cycle track toward St Aubin turning at or near the Kiosk for the 5k route. Pushing a little further the 50 group minute will turn around La Haule slipway. For the 90 we will be running down toward the yacht club before looping up and around the hotel Sommerville and finishing with a short dash up the railway walk to turn somewhere before the main road.
Route Details: Keeping things nice and simple this week. A lovely flat route away from traffic! No Strava map needed – surely it’s impossible to get lost on this route – right!?
Highlights: The beauty of this route is its simplicity, lack of traffic and end to end sea views.
Toilet Situation: Public toilets currently out of action at West Park but there are several others at regular intervals along the route.
Post-run re-caffeination: The Yard (a firm favourite). Grab your jackets and join us for a post run natter, brew and/or brekkie.
